Beth Brandel (Sister Berthe)- first saw The Sound of Music on t.v. when she was but a tiny "cheesehead," and it was love at first sight. At the ripe old age of six, Beth was fortunate enough to play Gretl, a role she reprised that next year. At age twelve, she portrayed the precocious Brigitta. Years passed, and following graduation from Carroll College, Beth performed at theme parks, dinner theatres and on national tours. Beth returned to "the hills" two years ago when she donned a habit as Sister Margaretta for Prather Entertainment Group in Florida and now gladly puts on a habit once again. Beth hopes you will enjoy The Sound of Music just as much as she has her entire life.
