Richard Daniel (Uncle Stanley) has lived in Tennessee for as long as he can remember, but he was born in Troy, North Carolina.  That's just about 30 miles from Mt. Pleasant.  Perhaps it's no surprise then that he has performed as Stanley or Burl Sanders in the Smoke on the Mountain trilogy some 300 times at the Cumberland County Playhouse, Chaffin's Barn, Allenberry Playhouse, and the Ryman Auditorium. At Cumberland County last fall he was a member of the first and only cast anywhere ever to perform all three shows in one very long day.  Earlier this year he was seen in productions of The Foreigner and Molly Sweeney.  Some of his other favorites include The Hasty Heart, The Boys Next Door, The Tempest and Dark of the Moon.
Paul Kerr (Burl Sanders) Musical fathers seem to be a theme for Paul here at the Dutch Apple.  First, as the head of the singing Von Trapp Family, Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, and now, Burl Sanders, leading the tuneful Sanders family in Smoke on the Mountain.  This production marks Paul's seventh turn as Burl in a show he truly cherishes.  In a 30 year career he has appeared in many National Tours, Regional Theatres, and has been a guest artist at several universities.  Thanks Kiersten, for singing the the way.
Ashley Pankow (Denise Sanders) Originally from Wisconsin, now residing in New York City.  Ashley is thrilled to join the Prather Family.  This is her second time being a member of the Sanders Family, having played Denise in Cumberland County Playhouse's Smoke on the Mountain Homecoming.  Favorite shows: South Pacific (Nellie), Flight of Lawnchair Man(Gracie), You're a GMCB (Sally Brown), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Girl/ Adelaide US) and Side By Side By Sondheim (Woman 2).  www.Ashleypankow.com
Greg Pragel (Pastor OgleThorpe) is originally from Buffalo and is excited to be joining the Prather family.  Recently he performed at the Renaissance Center where he directed, designed, and performed in Bash by Neil LaBute, and had a blast as part of the two-man shows Greater Tuna and A Tuna Christmas.  He is proud to have been a Resident Company Member and the Resident Fight Choreographer for Playhouse on the Square, and to have performed with Sesame Street Live! as the Cookie Monster and the Count.  Some of his favorite credits include Malcolm in The Full Monty, Jesus in Godspell, Tom Sawyer in Big River, Peter in And Baby Makes Seven,  and the title role in Scapin.  Special thanks to all his family, friends, and mentors for their endless love and support.

Sean Riley (Dennis Sanders)  is very excited to return to the Dutch Apple.  You may remember him as the Ukelalie player from Ring of Fire.  Sean hails from Manhattan, Kansas and now lives in New York City.  He recieved his BFA in Music Theatre with a minor is Dance from Missouri Valley College in 2007.  His recent roles include the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors and Babberly Charley's Aunt at the Naple Repertory Theatre.

Kiersten Vorheis (June Sanders)  is delighted to be returning to the Dutch Apple DT after playing Sister Margaretta in last summer's production of The Sound of Music.  This is Kiersten's third time being a part of the "Sanders Family" and has a special place in her heart for this timeless classic, Smoke on the Mountain.  Kiersten has performed throughout the country for several regional theaters including two national tours.  Kiersten would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support.  Lots of love to Paul for all your "Whispering Hope."

April Lee Uzarski (Vera Sanders) is an actor/director/musician originally from Pittsburgh, PA.  NYC credits include Ready, 4 Stop Tour, and The Repeat Offenders (Off-Broadway).  Regional credits include Smoke on the Mountain, Sanders Family Christmas, Nunsense, Noises Off, and Into the Woods.  www.aprilleeuzarski.com
