Sean Riley (Chip Tolentino) is very excited to join the cast of
Spelling Bee! He has recently appeared in the role of Patrick Andrews in Broadway Palm’s production of
The Andrew’s Brothers. Sean is originally from Manhattan, Kansas. He received his BFA in music theatre with a minor in dance in 2007. Sean also studies in improv at Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City. He would like to thank his family for their love and support.

She spent the Christmas season at American Music Theatre as a featured singer, and currently frequents Loxley’s in Lancaster and Maewyn’s in York with her solo acoustic act. annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Mitch Mahoney
The bee’s comfort counselor because
it’s part of his community service. He
looks like a bouncer and offers hugs and juice boxes to each eliminated
contestant.

Rendell DeBose (Mitch Mahoney) is excited to be back at the Dutch Apple where he appeared as Jim in
Big River. He has recently appeared in
The Civil War as Frederick Douglass and Andre in
Ain’t Misbehavin’ at the Roxy Theatre. Rendell has also performed as C.C. White in
Dreamgirls at Alhambra Dinner Theatre and Jim in
Bubbling Brown Sugar.

Vice Principal Douglas Panch
Returning
to “the bee” as a judge after a five year break is Vice Principal Douglas Panch. See his infatuation
with Rona and many hilarious antics.
Played by:
Galloway Stevens (Director/Vice Principal Douglas Panch) is so proud to have been the director of
Spelling Bee. Other directorial credits include
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,
Ain’t Misbehavin’ and
Cats. He is also excited to return to one of his favorite roles VP Doug Panch. Other acting credits include Aldolpho in
The Drowsy Chaperone, Ali Hakim in
Oklahoma, and the King in
