You’ll meet the eclectic characters of the Palm Coast Community Church Thrift Shop and laugh and cry as they learn how to love again, deal with possibly losing their lease and finding new friends. If you loved Church Basement Ladies, you’ll adore the new lovable characters of the thrift shop. Written by Dutch Apple owner Tom Ross Prather.

RENDELL DEBOSE

(Tyler) is very excited to be back at the Dutch Apple. He previously appeared in the national tour of Memphis and past PEG productions of Shrek the Musical as Donkey, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Big River, A Christmas Carol, Show Boat, and most recently Holly Jolly Christmas. He was also Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Victor in Smokey Joe’s Cafe and the Judge in Chicago, the Musical. He is a graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School and New Orleans Center for the Performing Arts.

SHANNON CONNOLLY

(Female Understudy) is delighted to be returning to the Dutch Apple stage. You may have recently seen her in My Fair Lady. Past PEG roles: Mrs. Claus in Holly Jolly Christmas, Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act, Miss Shields in A Christmas Story, Ethel Toffelmier in The Music Man, Portia in Cinderella, Mary Smith in Run for Your Wife and Caught in the Net, Lulu/Betty Blast in Footloose, Mavis in Church Basement Ladies 1, 2 and 4, and featured singer/young Mrs. Claus in Swingin’ Christmas.

DIANNE FUSSARO

(Janet) got her start in professional theatre on this very stage on the day Dutch Apple opened its doors and is so excited to be back! Dianne has had the honor of performing in some incredible productions such as She Loves Me (Ensemble), the Alonso/Lehan world premiere production and original cast recording of Phantom of the Opera (Madame Giry), and Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Stepmother) at Signature Theatre (Helen Hayes Award Winner for Best Musical). She also served as a founding company member and producer for Theatre America in New York City. Her favorite roles include Dinah (Dixie Swim Club), Maureen (Skin Deep by Jon Lonoff), and Woman 3 (MidLife 2, the Crisis Continues). Love to Jason and Giana.

FRANK HUGHES

(Male Understudy) is excited to be back at the Dutch Apple after appearing in My Fair Lady. Other Dutch Apple credits include Les Miserables (Valjean understudy), Phantom, Oklahoma!, West Side Story, and Shrek (Shrek understudy). Favorite credits include Les Miserables (Valjean), Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Evita (Peron understudy), Godspell (Lamar), Man of La Mancha (Sancho), The Full Monty (Malcolm), South Pacific (Billis), Hello, Dolly! (Cornelius Hackl), Sister Act (Ernie/Joey understudy), and A Christmas Carol (Fezziwig) among others, including many opera performances. For my #1 fan, my mom.

KELLY LEGARRETA

(Nadine) is so happy to be back in Pennsylvania! You might remember her as Vernadette in The Dixie Swim Club! Other favorite roles include: Mother Superior in Nunsense, Jeannette in The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Officer Billie Dwyer in Unnecessary Farce, Berthe in Boeing Boeing, Mavis in Away in the Basement: A Church Basement Ladies Christmas, Jean Perkins in Funny Money, and of course, Mary Smith in Run For Your Wife and Caught in The Net! She gives thanks to Tom and Debbie Prather and everyone involved in making this wonderful musical happen, her mom, and to her amazing husband, Victor, for being her everything!

VICTOR LEGARRETA

(Director/Ensemble) is thrilled to be back in Lancaster with so many dear friends. Audiences might remember Victor from Shear Madness where he played Nick Rossetti, The Rat Pack Lounge where he played Frank Sinatra, or as John Smith in both Run for Your Wife and Caught in the Net. Victor has performed in over 150 productions nationally, internationally and on cruise ships and has been a professional director for over 20 years. Love to his wife, Kelly!

MEGAN ORLOWSKI

(Lyricist/Choreography/Allison) is thrilled to be back at the Dutch Apple! Previous credits include The Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz, Mavis in Stepping Out, and Annelle in Steel Magnolias. Besides being the lyricist for Second Chances, Megan is also an author. Her books can be found in the Dutch Apple gift shop and at MeganORussell.com. Thank you to Tom and Debbie for bringing her into Second Chances, and love to her composer and husband, Chris.

KATIE PANKOW

(Ensemble) is very happy to be back at the thrift shop for her third time around in the role(s) she originated! Although this is her first time in Lancaster, Katie has performed frequently at the Dutch Apple’s sister theatre in Florida, the Broadway Palm. Favorite past roles include: Maggie Saunders in Lend Me A Tenor (Big Arts Strauss Theatre), Bobbi Michelle in The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Karen Brown in Unnecessary Farce, and Gretchen in Boeing Boeing, all at the Off-Broadway Palm. Thanks to Tom and Debbie for trusting me with a little part of your story and to Vic and the cast for the laughs and for being such a wonderful extended family. DANIELLE POZNANOVIC

(Ensemble) is delighted to be returning to the Dutch Apple stage where she was last seen in My Fair Lady! Originally hailing from Barrie, Ontario, Canada, she has had the opportunity to work with companies such as Servant Stage Company, Blue Gate Musicals, Sight and Sound Theatre, and Piercing Word. Favorite roles include: Jo March in Little Women, Belle in A Christmas Carol, and Josie Pye in Anne of Green Gables. Thank you to her incredible parents for their unending love and support, as well as her friends and teachers who have constantly encouraged her to continue to pursue her dreams! CHRISTOPHER RUSSELL

(Composer/Music Director/Wally) is overjoyed to be returning to the Dutch Apple in a show for which he composed the original score. Past Dutch Apple credits include Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, Eddie Ryan in Funny Girl, Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, and George in The Drowsy Chaperone. JOEL STIGLIANO

ROBERT SUMMERS

(Joe) is very excited to be treading the boards at the Dutch Apple again. You may remember him in The Music Man (Mayor Shinn) and A Christmas Carol (Scrooge). Since then, he’s been living his dream around the country. Some of his favorite roles include Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof), Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), Oscar (The Odd Couple), Leonard (Seminar), and Saunders (Lend Me a Tenor).
