As one of the earliest rock operas by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, it features such songs as I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Superstar, Gesemane and Hosanna.

Originally from Memphis, TN, his passion for musical theatre has always been a part of his life since discovering the art of theatre at the age of ten. (Mary Magdalene) was recently seen as Sophie in Mamma Mia on Royal Carribean’s Allure of the Seas and at The Broadway Palm in Footloose (Ariel) and Yesterdays (Janis Joplin). In New York City, she played Magda in Coming: A Rock Musical of Biblical Proportions at Fringe NYC, wrote and starred in It’s A Man’s World at 54 Below (with Lindsay Lavin) and Kissing Frogs: A Tale of Dating Misadventures in New York City (featured on ABC News). Kira Galindo

(Mary of Salome/Priestess) is happy to once again be at the Dutch Apple. After being at the Dutch Apple’s sister theatre, Broadway Palm in Evita, Kira is excited to perform for the Pennsylvania audiences. Some of Kira’s favorite roles have been Tina/Nun in Sister Act, Julie in Show Boat, Rhetta Cupp from Pump Boys and Dinettes, Lexi Richards from Dixie Swim Club, Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty, Scurry Dog in How I Became A Pirate, and Sally in Burt and Me. Kira has a BA in Performance from University of Wyoming. She has toured internationally, opened in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, and performed Off Broadway in New York City. Taylor Murphy Hale

Donovan Hoffer

(Simon) is thrilled to return to the Dutch Apple for this electrifying production! He just completed an extended run of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Fulton Theatre. Other Fulton credits include Billy Elliot, Footloose, Elf, and The Addams Family. Prather credits include West Side Story, Les Misérables, and Munkustrap in CATS! Donovan has traveled and performed with Carnival and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Other credits include Angel in Rent and Mark in Altar Boyz. Donovan enjoys choreographing and teaching musical theatre dance throughout the region.

Derrick Jaques

(James/Jesus Christ Understudy/Show Captain) is happy to tour with Prather Touring and return to Prather Entertainment Group. At the Dutch Apple: Funny Girl and Les Miserables. Broadway Palm: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! and A Christmas Carol. Favorite roles: Mary Sunshine (Chicago), Al (A Chorus Line),  and Kyle (Legally Blonde). Pedro Kaawaloa

(Bartholomew/Roman Guard/Simon and Peter Understudy) is a performer based out of New York. This is his fourth show with the Prather company, but his first at Dutch Apple. His regional credits include: The Fantasticks, South Pacific, Evita, White Christmas, The Addams Family, and Sister Act. Pedro is also a music director, conductor, pianist, teacher, and composer. Chasdan Ross Mike

(Judas) is beyond excited to be joining Prather Entertainment Group for this awesome production of Jesus Christ Superstar! He has loved the role of Judas since he was first discovering musical theatre in high school and is so grateful to be playing the part. Chasdan has played Seaweed in Hairspray, Donkey in Shrek, and has sang on cruise ships, sailing the Caribbean. He’s also a crazy Virgo! (Susanna/Soul Girl/Mary Magdalene Understudy) is thrilled to be joining the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar! She recently returned from the national tour of The Wizard of Oz. Other credits include Jenny Dillingham in Aspects of Love (Walnut Street Theatre), Natalie Understudy (Eagle Theatre), lead vocalist (Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom) and many more. Briana Thomas

(Mary of Bethany/Priestess/Soul Girl) is thrilled to be making her regional tour debut in Jesus Christ Superstar! She is a recent college grad of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2015). Past roles include Cinderella (Into the Woods), Babe Williams (The Pajama Game), and Babette (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast). She gives never ending thanks to New Stage Theatre (Jackson, MS) for blessing her with her first professional acting experience, her family, and to God for whom she dedicates her life.

Chris Trimboli

(Phillip/Roman Guard/Herod Understudy) is excited to be working with Prather again. He was last seen as Magaldi in Broadway Palm’s production of Evita. Chris is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. He would like to thank his mom, family, and Liz for their support.
