Prather Productions is a company consisting of two professional year-round dinner theatres and a national tour company. The dinner theatres feature Broadway-style musicals and comedies combined with a dinner buffet. Children’s Theatre and concerts are also featured throughout the season.

Prather Productions’ national tour division tours one non-Equity musical tour each year.

Dutch Apple is located in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and only three hours from New York City with accessibility by train or car and one hour to Baltimore.

Broadway Palm in Ft Myers, Florida is near Fort Myers Beach and beautiful Sanibel Island. For water sports enthusiasts or sun gods, it’s a paradise.
Our actors are all professionals, with most of them having college degrees in Theatre Performance, Musical Theatre, Dance, and other Performing Arts categories, and are selected at national auditions each year.

Main Stage Productions

Adult performers for our main stage productions are on stage an average of 6-9 shows per week.

Youth performers are double-cast in main stage productions to alleviate the demand of a full schedule. Youth actors perform in 4-5 shows per week, which includes matinees. There will be a few days that require early dismissal from school for rehearsals and performances. If cast, we provide you with the required papers for school clearance.

Children’s Theatre Productions

Roles are usually not double-cast for these productions. All actors will perform in 2-5 morning or  matinee shows a week.
