Broadway Bound Year Round!

This fall, Broadway Bound offers young performers an exciting opportunity to grow through focused theatre training! Each Saturday, students will dive into a different aspect of musical theatre (acting, singing, dancing, stage combat, and more!) building confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Whether you take one class or all of them, you’ll refine your skills and reconnect with theatre friends while continuing your Broadway Bound journey. Don’t miss out on this fun, educational experience!

Class Descriptions:

10/04: Acting a Song (10 and up)
Learn how to bring your songs to life by connecting to the lyrics, making strong acting choices, and telling a story through music. A must for every musical theatre performer!

10/11: The Music and the Mirror (10 and up)
Join cast members from our production of  “A Chorus Line” to learn the original Broadway choreography to numbers like “One” and the iconic audition sequence!

10/18: I Hope I Get It! (10 and up)
Master the audition process! From slating and self-tapes to sides, cold reads, and song cuts. Plus tips on resumes, headshots, your audition book, and standing out in the room (or on the screen)!

11/08: The Rumble (12 and up)
Learn the basics of stage combat with a professional trained by the Society of American Fight Directors. From punches and kicks to falls and rolls, you’ll build safe, dynamic fight skills — then put it all together by learning part of the iconic rumble from “The Outsiders”.

11/15: Let’s Talk About Dialects (8 and up)
Master essential dialect skills to elevate your acting. This workshop teaches you how to listen to, break down, and perform accents ranging from British RP to Southern to Australian!

11/22: Yes … AND! (10 and up)
Strengthen your creativity, spontaneity, and teamwork through improv games and scenes. This fun, high-energy class will sharpen your instincts and boost your stage presence.

12/06: & 5, 6, 7, 8! (10 and up)
You’ve got 8 counts to impress. Make them count! Work with an award-winning choreographer to learn how to quickly pick up audition choreography. Whether you’re a trained dancer or just starting out, this session is all about confidence, style, and booking that role.

12/13: Power Belt! (10 and up)
Join a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts to learn the foundations of safe, strong belting technique. Hit those powerhouse notes without strain!

12/20: It’s Hard to be the Bard (10 and up)
Explore the excitement and drama hidden in Shakespeare’s words! This interactive class helps you understand the language, speak with confidence, and bring characters to life with confidence! It’s not “boring” or “hard” when you have the right tools!
