Based on the 1984 movie, Footloose tells the story of teenager Ren McCormack, moving from Chicago to the small town of Bomont. Where Reverend Bomont has outlawed dancing. Ren finds it unbelievable the Reverend was able to convince the town to outlaw dancing. With the help of the Reverend’s daughter, Ariel, and Willard, his eventual best friend, Ren finally convinces the Reverend and town to allow the teenagers to dance, helping heal the town from a tragedy that affected them all. This show includes hit songs like “Almost Paradise,” “Let’s Hear it for the Boy” and, of course, “Footloose.”
