Mia Bixler (Gretl von Trapp), age 8, is thrilled to make her Dutch Apple Theatre debut. Mia previously played Chip in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (AIM ’23). At the age of 6, Mia was the youngest winner of the PA State Farm Show’s “Oh, Say Can You Sing” National Anthem contest, as well as the youngest soloist to ever sing at the Little League World Series. A member of Spotlight Kidz, Mia has performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, sang the National Anthem at two Philadelphia Phillies games and was also a soloist at the Laurie Beechman Theater in NYC where she was part of the “In The Spotlight” youth/teen cabaret which included Broadway and National Tour performers. Mia also has appeared in commercials and print as well as seen in TV performance. Mia is represented by David Doan at CESD and both Mallory Levy and Allie Silber at DDO Kids. Her performance/Talent Coach is Sandy Kost-Sterner. Mia thanks her parents and brothers Evan and Luke (and her puppy Ivy) as well as family and friends for their continued love and support. Mia looks forward to doing some of her favorite things while sharing the “sound of music” with everyone! Enjoy the show! @miabixler
