All Shook Up
All Shook Up is a jukebox musical, inspired by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, that uses the songs of Elvis Presley to tell a story about a mysterious, guitar-playing stranger who shakes up a small, conservative town with romance, rebellion, and rock ‘n’ roll. The plot follows a young woman who dreams of escape, a new arrival named Chad, and the ensuing chaos as love triangles and mistaken identities unfold, all set to hits like Jailhouse Rock, Heartbreak Hotel, Teddy Bear, Hound Dog, and Can’t Help Falling in Love. The show premiered on Broadway in 2005. PG13*

DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER Amy Marie McCleary returns to Dutch Apple having recently directed and choreographed the production of All Shook Up at Broadway Palm in Florida. She serves as Resident Director and Choreographer for Prather Productions and is known for her productions of Swing, Annie, CATS, and many others. Amy directed and choreographed the 2015 national tour of Memphis and choreographed the international tour of The Wizard of Oz. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/CO-CHOREOGRAPHER Jelani Bell is thrilled to be returning to Dutch Apple this season! He was most recently seen on the Dutch Apple stage in White Christmas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Performance from Greensboro College in North Carolina. His favorite credits include West Side Story, Singin’ in the Rain, and Beautiful The Carole King Musical. He previously served as Associate Director/Choreographer to Amy McCleary during the production of Hairspray at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. He thanks his mother and father for their love and support. Harrison Brousseau
(Jim Haller) initially wrote a bio using way too many Elvis puns. We begged him, “Don’t be cruel,” but he claimed, “Oh c’mon everybody, it hurts me not to.” Perhaps playing a father on stage convinced him he had permission to let himself go and make bad dad jokes, but only fools fall in love with such low humor.
