Based on the ever-popular, award-winning 1970s cartoons. A young schoolteacher is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters emerge from the set and show him how to teach with imagination and music.

(Dina/Dori US) is thrilled to be making her Dutch Apple debut in such a fun and upbeat show! Originally from Florida, she is excited to make her theatre dent in PA. During the day, she serves as a lead teacher at the Goddard School and also works at Hershey’s Chocolate World on their seasonal trolley shows! Some favorite credits: Emma Nolan (The Prom), Narrator (Joseph…Technicolor Dreamcoat), Jo March (Little Women), Victoria would like to thank to the entire creative team for welcoming her into this process and making it such a joyful one. And to her incredible wife Rowan — thank you for the late-night line runs, the impromptu scene work, and the constant love and encouragement. I love you always, and I couldn’t do this without you.

Lauren has performed throughout the east coast including Mickey’s Black Box, The State Theatre, Gretna Theatre,  Wolfe Street Theatre, Servant Stage and The Fulton Theatre. Favorite credits include: Wild Party (Kate), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie), And Then There Were None (Vera), Hairspray (Penny), Rocky Horror (Janet Weiss), Jekyll and Hyde (Emma), Anything Goes (Hope), An Education (World Premiere, Jenny), and The Miracle Worker (Anne). Film: Reminisce (Edna), Scared Stupid (Beth), and Paper Roses (Angelica). Lauren also got to make magic as a performer in Walt Disney World. (Shulie) is thrilled to return back to the Dutch Apple stage for Schoolhouse Rock Jr! A Lancaster County native, she brings two years of college-level training in musical theatre and stage management, and has worn many hats in the world of the arts onstage or off. Favourite credits include, Cut Dancer/Tricia/US (A Chorus Line), Portia (Something Rotten!), Jerusha Abbott (Daddy Long Legs), Amy March (Little Women) and Alabama Lamb (Big Fish). She is overjoyed to be part of this colorful, catchy, completely adjective-filled adventure and can’t wait to sing, smile, and help everyone learn a thing or two along the way! (Young boy) is so excited to be taking the stage again at the Dutch Apple for his 9th time since 2022! Some of his favorite theater credits include: Charlie Bucket in Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (The Fulton Theatre), Michael Hobbs in Elf the Musical, Les in Disney’s Newsies, Olaf in Frozen Jr, Hermey in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Little Boy in Ragtime (all at the Dutch Apple). Brodie would like to thank Lauren Sobon and Timothe Bittle for welcoming him back and giving him the opportunity to, once again, join the Dutch Apple family for an exciting new show!

(Shulie US)  Abigail began her journey to musical theater in late 2019 and has been dancing, singing, and acting ever since.  She has performed in many locations around the county from EPAC theater to Servant Stage Company and her middle school musicals.  Her favorite roles have included Princess Fiona in Shrek Jr., Shprintze in Fiddler on the Roof, and a worker/swing in Hadestown Teen Edition.  Abigail is grateful for her first opportunity to perform at Dutch Apple Theater and thanks her family and friends for all of the support

Aubrey Ault
(ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Dutch Apple debut! She has most recently been seen in Seussical with Encore! Homeschool Productions this spring as a Bird Girl. Other favorite past credits include Willy Wonka (Encore!), 2025 Christmas Show (American Music Theater), Frozen Jr. (Susquehanna Stage), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Fulton Theatre), and The Wizard of Oz (Hempfield High School). A student at Cavod Performing Arts, Aubrey trains in ballet, pointe, and jazz, and loves choreographing her own dances. When not on stage, she enjoys reading and playing outdoors. Aubrey sends a huge thank you to her family for driving her everywhere and always encouraging her to chase her dreams.

TRAFFIC UPDATE

Weekend Closure at Route 30/Route 222 Interchange in Lancaster County
Weather permitting, Route 30 and the bridge northbound and southbound Route 222 over Route 30 will be closed at 9:00 PM Friday, April 17.
The closure is expected to remain in place until 5:00 AM Monday, April 20.
 - Eastbound Route 30 detour will use Route 501 (Lititz Pike) south to Route 222 south to Duke Street to Route 23 east to Route 30.
 - Eastbound Route 30 to northbound Route 222 detour will use Route 272 (Oregon Pike) to Jake Landis Road to Butter Road north to northbound Route 222.
 - Westbound Route 30 detour will use northbound Route 222 to the Route 272 (Oregon Pike) ExitButter Road north to Jake Landis Road west to Route 272 south to southbound Route 222 and westbound Route 30.
 - Southbound Route 222 to eastbound Route 30 detour will use Route 30 west to Fruitville Pike to Chester Road to Route 501 (Lititz Pike) south to Route 222 south to Duke Street to Route 23 east to Route 30.
