Dust off your leather jackets, pull on your bobby-socks, and take a trip to a simpler time with Danny, Sandy, the T-Birds, the Pink Ladies and everyone else at Rydell High School. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new, good girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the romance of their summer as the rest of the gang sing and dance their way through the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including You’re the One that I Want, Grease is the Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin’ and many more. Grease is the word again!

An interpreter will be available for the Saturday, May 12 evening performance.

DEMI MARIE AHLERT (Cha Cha/Ensemble/Rizzo understudy) is so happy to be back at the Dutch Apple in Grease! She was last here as Fastrada in the national tour of Pippin. She is originally from Orlando, Florida and is a recent graduate from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts with a BFA in musical theatre. You can see her later this summer in Arizona Broadway Theatre’s Catch Me If You Can! She would like to thank the creative team, and her friends and family for all their love and support!

BRODY AWALT (Johnny Casino/Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his debut at Dutch Apple. His recent credits include exploring over forty different countries for the past three years as a singer/dancer with Regent Cruise Lines and Disney Cruise Lines, multiple regional theatre shows in the South Florida area and with Spirit Productions, and finally dancing in Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Mashup and the Superstar Parade with Universal Studios Orlando. He would like to thank his family and friends for making his life a beautiful musical of its own.

MICHELLE BAILEY (Patti Simcox/Sandy understudy) is a proud Canadian and graduate of Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City. Recent credits include Artspower’s national tour of Chicken Dance (Marge), Sweet Charity (Helene) and Burlesque to Broadway (Trixie L’amour). Michelle is thrilled to be joining this cast of Grease! KATHLEEN CARTER (Betty Rizzo) is excited to be making her Dutch Apple debut! This is her third show with Prather Productions, having just finished Mamma Mia! (Tanya) and Chicago (Velma understudy) at Broadway Palm. DEVAN MARIE CORCORAN (Jan) is thrilled to be making her Dutch Apple debut. After traveling the seas as a performer with Disney Cruise Line and traveling the country as the beloved Abby Cadabby in Sesame Street Live: Make A New Friend, this Buffalo native put down roots in the Big Apple. Other favorite credits: Bebe in A Chorus Line, Phyllis Dale in 42nd Street, Texas in Cabaret, Disney’s Mary Poppins. Besides performing, Devan has always loved teaching. She can be found teaching young dancer classes at the School at Steps or traveling the country teaching master classes in tap and musical theatre. ROBERT MURRAY (Doody) Dutch Apple debut! Originally from Pittsburgh, Robert is now based in New York City after graduating from American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. He’s worked professionally with the Pittsburgh Opera and Pittsburgh CLO. He most recently appeared performing at Carnegie Hall for A Dean Martin Centennial Celebration and as a guest performer with Albany Pro Musica. He can also be heard in the recording of Kerrigan and Lowdermilk’s new musical Republic. Chris Trombetta (Scuttle) is ecstatic to be returning to The Dutch Apple stage as Scuttle for The Little Mermaid! You may remember him as the nerd Eugene in Grease.
