Mary Poppins the Musical

Everyone’s favorite nanny is back! Adventure abounds as you get whisked away to meet dancing chimney sweeps and an array of colorful characters in this beloved musical. Hear classics like SupercalifragilisticexpialidociousA Spoonful of Sugar, and Chim Chim Cher-ee.

DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER
Amy Marie McCleary
returns to Dutch Apple having recently directed and choreographed the production of All Shook Up at Broadway Palm in Florida. She serves as Resident Director and Choreographer for Prather Productions and is known for her productions of Swing, Annie, CATS, and many others. Amy directed and choreographed the 2015 national tour of Memphis and choreographed the international tour of The Wizard of Oz. She also works as an associate director for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Jelani Bell
 is thrilled to be returning to Dutch Apple for this production of Mary Poppins. He served as associate director and co-choreographer to Amy McCleary at Dutch Apple for All Shook Up and Hairspray. Jelani was last seen performing on the Dutch Apple stage as Frank in A Chorus Line last fall. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Performance from Greensboro College, NC. Some favorite credits of his include West Side Story, Singin’ in the Rain and Beautiful The Carole King Musical. Jelani thanks his mother and father for their love and support and dedicates this production to Perry.

(Mary Poppins) Annika is over the rooftops to make her Dutch Apple debut in Mary Poppins! Her dream is to play all of the Julie Andrews roles, and so far she has two Eliza Doolittles (My Fair Lady) and one Maria von Trapp (The Sound of Music) checked off the list. She'd like to thank her family and her best friends for travelling all over the country to support her performances, and hopes you enjoy the show!

(Bert) Trevor is thrilled to be making his Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre debut! Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Trevor is a NYC based performer. Recent credits at Asolo Repertory Theatre: Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka US/Mende US/Swing), Jesus Christ Superstar (Swing/Peter US).  Other professional credits include: Disney Beauty and the Beast (Gaston, Cortland Repertory Theatre), Xanadu (Terpsichore), The Wizard of Oz (Uncle Henry/Oz Guard), A Christmas Story (Ensemble). Trevor graduated from Rider University where he played Billy Crocker in Anything Goes and Clifford Bradshaw in Cabaret. (George Banks) Jack is so excited to be joining Dutch Apple for this theatrical production of his favorite movie musical! Recent credits include: Ernst/Cliff US (Cabaret, Palace Theater), Jerry Singfeld (Singfeld! A Musical Parody, Jerry Orbach Theater), Anatole (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Arvada Center), Claude (Hair, Black Rock Theater), Topper/Swing (A Christmas Carol, Denver Center for the Performing Arts), and Orsino (Twelfth Night, Shakespeare in the Wild).

  (Winifred Banks) Bella is thrilled to be making her Prather Productions and Dutch Apple debut. She is delighted to return to the role of Mrs. Banks, a role Rebecca Luker once coached her to remember was the “soul of the family.” Based in NYC, Bella grew up in Delaware, Ohio. She loved sharing holiday magic on her first National Tour as Auntie Who in Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! Other recent credits: Kinky Boots (Trish) at ACT of Connecticut, Annie (Boylan Sister/Mrs. Pugh) at the Sharon Playhouse, Hello, Dolly! (Dolly Levi), 9 to 5 (Doralee), Kiss Me, Kate! (Lois), She Loves Me (Ilona) at College Light Opera Company. You can also catch this old soul crooning the Great American Songbook with big bands and symphonies. (Jane Banks) Violet is thrilled to make her main stage debut at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Favorite roles include Young Moriah in Joshua (Sight & Sound), Little Lucie in A Tale of Two Cities (Servant Stage), Young Fiona/Baby Bear in Shrek Jr. (Dutch Apple), and Matilda in Matilda Jr. (Cavod Theatre). Violet loves singing, dancing, and bringing stories to life on stage. She is grateful to God for the opportunity to perform and thankful for her family and friends who continually encourage her. She hopes you enjoy this practically perfect adventure!

(Jane Banks) Mallory is thrilled to make her Dutch Apple debut! She has been performing since the age of 3 and has loved it ever since. Her previous credits include Annie (Annie), Disney Mary Poppins Jr. (Jane), A Christmas Carol, Oliver!,  Disney Frozen JR, and Beetlejuice Jr. (Juno). She is grateful for this opportunity and is happy to join the Dutch Apple family!

(Michael Banks)  Brodie is so excited to be taking the stage again at the Dutch Apple for his 10th time since 2022! Some of his favorite theater credits include: Charlie Bucket in Charlie & The Chocolate Factory (The Fulton Theatre), Michael Hobbs in Elf the Musical, Les in Disney’ Newsies, Olaf in Disney Frozen Jr, Hermey in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer the Musical Jr. and Little Boy in Ragtime (all at the Dutch Apple). Brodie would like to thank his family and friends for their ongoing support along with Lauren Sobon and Timothe Bittle for welcoming him back and giving him the opportunity to, once again, join the Dutch Apple family to be a part of one of his favorite classic shows!

(Michael Banks) Owen made his Dutch Apple debut performance as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol and he is excited to be back onstage here with this production. Owen enjoys singing, dancing, gymnastics, tumbling and swimming. He is free-spirited and loves to laugh and show anyone he can his flexibility and gymnastic abilities wherever and whenever it's possible. Owen is currently studying voice with Tami Orama at Vocal Pro Studios.

(Mrs. Brill) Margaret is feeling Super... returning to the role of Mrs. Brill after performing in Broadway Palm's production of Mary Poppins in 2024. She is based in NYC and has studied voice, acting, and dance in Trentino, Italy, as well as in New York and New Jersey. Thanks to Amy, Marc, and all at Prather. Much love to family! She is a Kentucky native now based in NYC. Jasmine would like to dedicate her performance to her mother Aimee. “Mom, it’s only me and you. (Mrs. Lark/Ensemble) Taylor last appeared at Dutch Apple as Gertie in Oklahoma! Other previous credits: Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn (Louise US), Smokey Joe's Cafe (DeLee), West Side Story (Graziella), and Crazy for You (Betsy). (Mrs.Andrews/Bird Woman) Delaney is thrilled to return to Dutch Apple after appearing in Disney The Little Mermaid. Select credits: The Sound of Music and 9 to 5 (Fulton Theatre), The Wedding Singer and Oliver! (Great Plains Theatre), and The Three Little Pigs (Gretna Theatre). Delaney recently was lead vocalist on the Regent Seven Seas Mariner for 7 months! She is grateful to be home with her loved ones and performing in Lancaster again. Soli Deo Gloria!

When not playing the fool, you can find Bobby walking obscene distances, enjoying the great outdoors, and drinking concerning amounts of caffeine. He has recently been seen as Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde, at the ECU/Loessin Playhouse. Some other credits include Gaston in Disney Beauty and the Beast and Frank Sr. in Catch Me If You Can at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse. (Ensemble) Braedyn recently appeared in All Shook Up and Hairspray at Dutch Apple. Braedyn has performed locally and in regional dance competitions. He began dancing nine years ago and has won three regional titles. He loves to perform and entertain and plans to pursue a performance career. He thanks his family, friends, and dance teachers for their guidance and support.

(Ensemble) Alli is very excited to be back on the Dutch Apple stage! Alli holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Lancaster Bible College and, since graduating, has performed locally at theatres such as Prima, the Fulton Theatre, and Servant Stage and is a member of the Emme Dance Collective. In addition to performing, Alli is passionate about arts education and serves as a dance professor at LBC and a private dance instructor at Creative Pursuits Studio. She is incredibly grateful to her family, friends, and her students for their constant love and support!
